Invisalign

Invisalign is the most trusted and well-respected provider of virtually invisible, orthodontic aligners used to straighten teeth. This system is the most effective and popular with orthodontic specialists worldwide. In fact to date over three and a half million patients worldwide have successfully been treated and now have smiles they can be proud of. Dr Lauren Grant is our Invisalign provider and is happy to discuss your treatment options with you.

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign® treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom made just for you. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move little by little until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your practitioner.

The process

Invisalign® consultations are free for our existing private patients. You will have a no-obligation initial consultation where you will receive a visual examination and your suitability for Invisalign® will be discussed. You can talk about what you want to achieve and any questions will be answered.

Before treatment commences we will need to take digital photographs and impressions of your teeth and an OPG x-ray to ensure suitability. This takes place across two different appointments at the surgery. At you final appointment before treatment commences, we will show you how your teeth should look at the end of your treatment using Clincheck® software.

Three to four weeks later your aligners will arrive and the treatment process will begin. Expect to return for regular appointments every 6-8 weeks during your treatment period.

Why choose Invisalign?

  • Invisalign treatment has been used in over three million cases worldwide and has a well-proven record of effective treatment.

  • Before treatment starts, see a computerised preview of how your smile will look in three dimensions.

Invisalign aligners are very comfortable to wear, fitting over your teeth almost invisibly.

A very discreet treatment option. You can keep the fact that you are undergoing orthodontic treatment a secret from friends, family and work colleagues.

Aligners are easily removable for eating and cleaning your teeth.
